DESCRIPTION:The Climate Action Festival is excited to bring you the Aotearoa New Zealand premiere of The New Peasants by Happen Films. \nThe New Peasants is an intimate portrait of a family—Meg\, Patrick\, Zephyr\, and Woody—who for two decades have chosen to step away from modern industrial culture to live a radically simple\, sustainable\, and intentional life. The film offers a moving glimpse into the challenges and joys of their daily lives and highlights how transformative change can begin at home and in community\, and that each of us has a role to play in creating a better future. \nJoin us from 6:15pm — doors open early so you can grab a drink\, enjoy a tasty pre-film bite\, and explore local groups taking action on climate. \nThe film begins at 7:00pm\, followed by a live Q&A with the featured family\, joining us via Zoom from Australia. \nRegistration is required and can be done HERE. \n \n  \n\nThis event is part of Climate Action Festival 2025.
