We’re seeking expressions of interest from community-minded locals for the positions of Chair, and Leadership Group members.
These are voluntary roles, ideally suited to people who are passionate about:
* Strengthening Communities – Support local communities to come together around resilience, nature connection and climate change initiatives
* Making an Impact – Help shape local initiatives that reduce emissions, strengthen communities and build on projects such as the Climate Action Festival, Repair Cafes and Take the Jump.
* Expanding your expertise – Get hands-on experience in non-profit governance and leadership.
Chair Commitment: About 5 hours per week, depending on how this role is structured and how responsibilities are shared. $3000 annual stipend.
Leadership Group Member Commitment: About 4 hours per month, includes online board meetings, annual AGM and occasional project work.
