Textile ResQ volunteers will share tips and tricks on how you can mend and upcycle clothes and bring them back to life. They will be giving demonstrations and hands-on instruction at the Hospice Op Shops in Stoke and Nelson throughout the day on Sunday 19 October.

Textile ResQ volunteers are skilled in a variety of upcycling techniques, including creative visible mending by stitching and needle felting. They will also be demonstrating how to make t-shirt yarn. You can bring in your old clothes that need repair or patch and volunteers will be on hand to share tips and techniques and get you on your way to mend your own clothes.

Creative repair patches will be for sale that you can use for your repairs at home.

Textile ResQ works in partnership with Nelson Tasman Hospice shops.
