Motueka Community film circle is back!

June 25 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

$10

This film highlights how community-driven efforts to establish water-retention landscapes can impact water conservation.  It follows a group of young people grappling with the climate crisis while they weave in inspiring stories of regenerative ecosystem design to create water retention in communities, villages, and regions.

This documentary shows us how essential intact water cycles are for climate stability, and the potential of decentralised rainwater retention systems for restoring broken water cycles, refilling aquifers and cooling the atmosphere.

The film will be followed by a facilitated discussion. Can we create a more resilient landscape around Motueka by better holding and directing water to balance droughts and floods?

Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase.

Tickets are $10 and can be reserved by emailing The Gecko at: gecko.theatre@xtra.co.nz.

Subsidised tickets for this event are made possible by the Network Tasman Charitable Trust, helping getting the word out about the Take the Jump Campaign and the simple and easy shifts that everybody can make to help the planet.
