Our Human Rights: How to Use them for Climate Action and a Just Transition?

31 May 2023 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Join the Forum as we view a talk by Josephine Grey, a long-time advocate and community organizer for healthy food security, human rights, climate action and basic income in Canada.

In the talk, Josephine walks us through the UN Human Rights Framework and how it can be used to advocate for food security and climate action. She and her community are using the UN Declaration of the Rights of the Child, to which Canada and New Zealand are both signatories, to campaign, to community organise and to make progress toward social Justice, equity and equal opportunity.

After watching the 40-minute webinar together, we’ll stay for a short group discussion.

If you want to join, please register here (even last minute), to receive the zoom link.
