May 30 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
We would like to highlight, during this Climate Action Week, the regular presence of Stitch-it-don’t-ditch-it Whakatū Nelson in our community.
Stitch-it-don’t-ditch-it Whakatū Nelson is part of the larger movement of Street Stiching, which is “an act of gentle disruption that demonstrates the pleasure and necessity of garment repair in areas of fast fashion chains where consumers are already thinking about replacing or adding to their wardrobe“.
They meet every fortnight, on a Tuesday, from 11.30am to 11.30pm.
