Join the team in the Victory Community Garden for a working bee and afternoon tea to celebrate the Climate Action Festival.

Hear about their newly developed vision for the garden that supports people to garden together, while checking out their community compost system and tending to their garden beds. After the hard mahi, stay to enjoy some homemade and locally produced refreshments in the relaxed surroundings of the mārakai.

The Victory Mārakai is a place where people grow together while sharing the mahi and knowledge that helps people grow their own food. Our working bees usually include compost making so that helpers can see the full cycle in action. From food scraps to the compost and back to the garden to make more nutrient-rich food.
