Post Election Bash (the weeds)

Didn’t get the result you wanted? Come along and take it out on invasive plants on the banks of the Wai-iti River, next to Barton Lane (between Brightwater and Wakefield) on Sunday 15th October (9am – 12pm).

Working bee for the fourth year in a row, to maintain an area of replanted native trees free of invasive broom, gorse, old man’s beard and bindweed.

Car pooling: meet at the car park of the Richmond Badminton Association, Gladstone Road, Richmond at 8.45am.

Or meet on site, in the parking area at Barton Lane, just before the ford over the Wait-it river, at 9am approx.

Bring: grubbers, pruning saws, secateurs, gloves, water (morning tea provided).
