Seed Saving For Local Food Resilience

May 26 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Koha

Join Sol Morgan, from the Golden Bay Sustainable Living Center and the local GB Seed Saver group, who will explain the art of saving seeds, combining theory and practice.

Saving seeds is fundamental for local food resilience. This supports growing food locally, which also reduces transport costs, but is also a way to preserve our food diversity. Learn more about how preserving our cultivated biodiversity helps to “regenerate” our planet here: Plant Diversity I Project Regeneration

Please register emailing GBsustain@gmail.com – Koha entry, with lunch of soup and bread provided.
