Tāhunanui Community Beach Clean-Up

Join us as part of the Climate Action Festival and help protect our coastline from litter and plastic pollution. Last year, more than 200 volunteers collected 500 kg of rubbish from Tāhunanui Beach and surrounds. This year, the goal is 1,000 kg!
Removing rubbish from our beaches helps prevent plastics from entering the ocean, where they can harm wildlife and break down into microplastics. Bring your friends, whānau, colleagues, or classmates and be part of a fun community event.
Organised by Tāhuna Beach Holiday Park as part of Keep New Zealand Beautiful’s Clean Up Week, this community event brings people together to care for our beach, waterways, and wildlife.
After the clean-up, enjoy a free thank-you BBQ and spot prizes.
