Food Resilience Group
Food is central to the well-being of our families, communities, and society. Nurturing and growing a resilient food system ensures that households in our region are able to meet their food needs and that the food system can withstand external shocks such as natural disasters, economic challenges, or climate change.
As a group, we are keen to bolster our local food system through ecologically sustainable and economically viable ways while centering our community’s well-being. To help achieve this goal our group is helping to support local community gardens and food initiatives.
Anyone keen to learn more or join is welcome to get in touch.

The Climate Action Book
The Nelson Tasman Climate Forum offers this plan for every citizen of our region — for individuals, households, businesses, farmers, schools and colleges, religious organisations, councils and iwi. We also hope to help other parts of Aotearoa to develop their own Climate Action Plans and contribute to the development of Climate Action Plans around the world.
