Our submissions group works behind the scenes — reading the fine print, tracking opportunities, and speaking up when it matters. Read our work here.
We:
- Respond to local and national policy proposals
- Advocate for stronger climate, nature and biodiversity action
- Work with councils to shape meaningful change
- Host “meet the candidates” events so our community can ask the hard questions.
It’s not always visible work — but it’s essential.
Because the right decisions, at the right time, can shift everything.

The Climate Action Book
The Nelson Tasman Climate Forum offers this plan for every citizen of our region — for individuals, households, businesses, farmers, schools and colleges, religious organisations, councils and iwi. We also hope to help other parts of Aotearoa to develop their own Climate Action Plans and contribute to the development of Climate Action Plans around the world.
